Who operates EdgeLab
EdgeLab Poker is operated personally by Pol Lanza. For privacy questions and requests, contact mybusinessmail10@gmail.com.
Information we process
We process your account email and authentication details; your player name, stakes, format and study profile; uploaded poker hand histories and derived statistics; bankroll records; study notes, check-ins, coaching conversations and feedback you save. Hosting and authentication services also process technical information such as IP addresses, request logs and session identifiers.
Google and Discord sign-in
If you choose a connected sign-in provider, we receive the account identifier, email and basic profile information it supplies, such as a name or avatar. We use these to authenticate you and associate your account with your EdgeLab data. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Discord messages or server memberships. You can continue to use email sign-in instead.
Why we use information
We use account and study information to provide the service you request, including authentication, saving your work, analysing uploaded hands and generating coaching responses. We use technical logs to keep the service reliable and prevent abuse. Named activity events and submitted feedback help us understand and improve Early Access. Activity events do not contain raw histories, chat messages, file names or free-text onboarding answers.
Where the GDPR applies, processing necessary to provide your requested service relies on performance of our agreement with you. Security, reliability and product improvement rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving EdgeLab, subject to your rights. We process information to meet legal obligations where required. Do not put medical details or other sensitive personal information into coaching conversations or uploads.
Services that process information
Supabase provides authentication and database storage. Vercel hosts the website and processes delivery and request information. Resend delivers account emails. Your chosen Google or Discord provider handles its own sign-in flow.
When you request AI coaching, OpenAI receives your message, recent conversation context, selected profile information and recent check-ins. Strategy recommendations send aggregate poker statistics and review signals to OpenAI. EdgeLab does not send raw hand histories to OpenAI for these features. Responses are saved in EdgeLab. AI requests use the API’s store:false setting; this does not guarantee that provider security logs have no retention.
Service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Applicable provider contractual safeguards govern these transfers. We do not sell your personal data or use Google sign-in information for advertising.
Cookies and storage
Authentication uses cookies to maintain and refresh your session. We also save interface preferences in browser storage. EdgeLab records named product activity in its database; it does not load an advertising tracker as part of this setup.
Retention and deletion
Saved player information remains while you use your account, unless you delete it or request deletion. You can delete imported hands and saved player data in the app. Deleting player data removes the associated profile and saved study records, but does not delete your authentication account. Contact us to request full account deletion. Provider backups and technical logs may persist under their retention schedules after deletion from the active app.
Your choices and rights
You can update your player profile, export saved player data and hand histories, and delete player data in the app. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need to verify your identity. You can complain to your local data-protection authority. AI study suggestions do not determine legal rights or eligibility and are not guarantees of poker results.
Other players and children
Uploaded histories may contain other players’ screen names. Upload only histories you are permitted to use and avoid unnecessary personal information. EdgeLab is intended for adult players and is not designed for children.
Changes
We update this notice when data practices change and show the revision date here. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
